No loss here- John 6:37 ESV

37 All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never cast out.

Have you ever lost something? Of course you have. We all lose things occasionally. It may be your wallet or your keys or your cell phone, or anything else of value. It’s scary when we lose something. We are panic-stricken as we search and search for the lost item. When we finally find it, a wave of relief sweeps over us.

We frequently worry about losing valuables. However, one thing we do not have to worry about is Jesus losing us. We have God’s word on that. Jesus stated that all that the Father gives him will come to him. Furthermore, whoever comes to Jesus will be secure. Jesus will not lose you or cast you out.

In John Chapter 10, concerning the redeemed, Jesus stated that no one can snatch them out of His hands or his Father’s hands. If you are redeemed, you are safe and secure in the Savior’s hands.

This should bring a great sense of relief to everyone who has placed their faith in Christ for their salvation. The psalmists would refer to God as their rock, their fortress, and their salvation. These three descriptions of god speak of the security we have in Christ.

If you are redeemed, rejoice in the knowledge that your salvation is secure in Christ. If you are not redeemed, let today be your day of salvation. Come to Jesus, and find security.
